Ingredients
* French baguette: 1 pc.
* Butter: 4 tbsp (melted)
* Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
* Marinara sauce: 1 cup
* Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups (shredded)
* Pepperoni: 16-22 slices
* Dried oregano and red pepper flakes: to taste
* Fresh basil for garnish
Preparation:
1. Preheat your oven to 200°C . Slice the baguette in half lengthwise and place the halves on a baking sheet.
2. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
3. Bake the bread for 5–7 minutes until it starts to get lightly toasted and crisp.
4. Remove from the oven and spread the marinara sauce over each half, then top generously with mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
5. Sprinkle with dried oregano and red pepper flakes if desired. Return to the oven for another 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
