Ingredients
For 1 cup of cappuccino:
- 30 ml espresso (or strong black coffee)
- 90 ml milk
- Milk foam (about 1 cm thick, made from the milk)
- Optional: ground cinnamon or chocolate powder for sprinkling on top
Preparation Method
Make the Espresso
- Brew fresh espresso using a coffee maker or an espresso machine.
- Pour it into the bottom of a small cup or cappuccino cup.
Heat and Froth the Milk
- Heat the milk without boiling (up to about 65°C / 150°F).
- Use a milk frother or whisk by hand until you get thick, airy foam.
Pour into the Cup
- Pour the hot milk over the espresso.
- Finally, add the milk foam, about 1 cm thick.
Final Decoration
- Optionally, sprinkle cinnamon, cocoa, or chocolate powder on top.
- You can serve it with cookies or crepes for a perfect breakfast.
Tip
- For a sweeter version, add a tablespoon of vanilla or caramel syrup.
- If you don’t have a frother, you can froth the milk using a latte shaker or a regular blender.
