Cottage Cheese Doughnuts

Ingredients

 

  • "Ani" Cottage Cheese - 250 g
  • Eggs - 3
  • Sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Flour - 8 tbsp
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Powdered Sugar and Vanilla - to taste

 

Preparation

  1. In a deep bowl, mix the cottage cheese, eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt until you get a smooth batter.
  2. Shape the doughnuts using a spoon or your hands.
  3. Pour a generous amount of vegetable oil into a pan and heat well.
  4. Fry the doughnuts until golden brown.
  5. Serve hot, sprinkled with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla or with your favorite jam sauce.
