Ingredients
Yogurt Base:
- 540g Greek yogurt
- 60-70g Honey
- 1.5 tsp Vanilla extract
Toppings & Decoration:
- 200g fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
- 40g pistachios or slivered almonds
- 20g dark chocolate (melted or finely chopped)
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla. Mix well until the texture is smooth and glossy.
- Line a flat tray or baking sheet with parchment paper (essential for easy removal).
- Pour the yogurt mixture onto the paper and spread it evenly with a spoon to about 0.5–1 cm thickness.
- Wash and dry the berries. Slice them thinly and arrange them over the yogurt. Sprinkle it with crushed nuts and chocolate.
- Lightly press the toppings into the yogurt using your fingers or the back of a spoon to ensure they stick.
- Place in the freezer for 4-5 hours (or overnight) until completely firm.
- Once frozen, remove and break into beautiful, irregular pieces by hand or with a knife.
💡 Tips:
- For a more vibrant flavor, use blueberry-flavored Greek yogurt instead of plain. If you do, you can slightly reduce the amount of honey.
- To ensure the bark isn't too hard to bite into, slice the berries as thinly as possible.
- Serve immediately after removing from the freezer, as they soften quickly at room temperature.
- Store leftovers in a sealed container in the freezer.
Bon appétit! ❤️
