YOGURT TOAST
Ingredients:
• Bread (brioche or thick white bread): 2 slices
• Greek yogurt: 3 tbsp
• Egg: 1 pc.
• Honey or maple syrup: 2 tsp
• Vanilla extract: a pinch
• Fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries): to taste
• Powdered sugar for garnish
Preparation:
1. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Using the back of a spoon, press down the center of each bread slice to create a well (be careful not to break through the bread).
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the yogurt, egg, honey, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
4. Pour the custard mixture into the wells of the bread. Top with fresh berries.
5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the custard is set and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
6. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with extra honey before serving.
